FAIR-IMPACT is designed to optimise cross collaboration and alignment. The work will be done in three Work Packages (3, 4 and 5) which identify and adapt candidate approaches, tools and solutions suitable for wider adoption, two Work Packages (2 and 6) focusing on interoperability, adoption and support, with two more (1 and 7) that interact across the project. This structure, complemented with the FAIR Implementation Team, ensures coordination and a coherent approach towards the stakeholders in the different use cases.
Building on the results of FAIRsFAIR and other projects and initiatives, we will realise the goal of the EOSC Partnership to implement standards, tools and services that allow researchers to find, access, reuse and combine results. The active involvement of scientific communities included in the consortium as integrated use case partners, will ensure that viable and tested solutions from one domain can be piloted in others and help to achieve wider uptake, adoption, implementation of, and compliance with the FAIR principles, leading to a web of FAIR data and related services.
